Dr. Phillip Love, DDS
Dr. Philip Love was born a long time ago. 1968! He is a Calgarian, born and bred. He has been a travel agent, a warehouse box-lifter and a Co-op grocery carry-out boy. He went back to school after these adventures in 1990 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2000 after getting a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce
He earned a prestigious appointment with Dr. Sam Kherani, Vice president of the Las Vegas institute of Advanced Dental Studies. At Dr. Kherani's practice, he learned the principles behind cosmetic dentistry and the creation of beautiful smiles.
He believes firmly that dentistry can be delivered in comfort and with a high ethical mandate.
He is married to Dr. Richa Love of the Thorncliffe Medical Centre. They share a son and a daughter.
He took over Beddington Heights Dental Care in 2003 and expanded it into Love Dental which has the best and most caring staff in the world. We are confident that we can provide excellent dentistry, gently performed in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Michele Spooner, DDS
Dr Michele Spooner is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario and began her post-secondary education at Lakehead University in Applied Bio-Molecular Science. She completed her Dentistry training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, graduating in 2010. During her training she was able to spend time observing dentistry in Dresden Germany as part of an exchange program. Before moving to Calgary to join Love Dental, she practiced in Winnipeg, Manitoba for several years.
Dr Spooner practices general dentistry. She enjoys working with both adults and children. She provides services that includes cosmetic dentistry as well as fillings, emergency treatments, root canals, extractions, crowns and bridges.
Dr. Spooner is married to her wonderful husband, Aaron and has a lovely baby daughter. She loves to read, travel and hike. She also loves to spend time with friends and family attending the Calgary Philharmonic orchestra, sporting events and ballet. She likes to try her hand at photography and baking.
Dr. Huda Jergeas, DDS
Dr. Huda Jergeas is a general dentist with over 25 years of experience. After owning and practicing in her dental office in South East Calgary for almost 20 years, she joined Love Dental Clinic as a part-time associate.
Dr. Jergeas enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and she regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure her patients receive the highest level of care. She follows a caring approach to dentistry combining professional skills and experience coupled with a kind and gentle approach. She believes in educating and motivating her patients to achieve a healthy, beautiful, and long lasting smile.
Huda also enjoys giving back to the community by regularly volunteering in local organizations including the Calgary Urban Project Society delivering free dental care to the less fortunate.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, and attending group fitness classes.
Dr. Tanya Chacko, DDS
Dr. Tanya Chacko was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She started her post-graduate education at the Medicine Hat College and received her Bachelor of Biological Science from the University of Alberta. Dr. Chacko then went on to the University College Cork in Ireland where she received her degree in Dental Medicine in 2013. As much as she loved her time in Europe, she was excited to return home to Alberta and to start practicing.
She loves working with all types of patients and works hard to make the dental experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Chacko does a range of procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges. She is also happy to provide her patients with Invisalign treatment to straighten teeth.
Dr. Chacko has enjoyed working with the staff at Love Dental. She shares the practice philosophy of patient-centred treatment delivered with comfort and care. In her free time, she enjoys ultimate frisbee and hiking or camping in the mountains. She also had the amazing opportunity to do volunteer dental work in Peru with Kindness in Action last year.
